DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – GENOA
After we meet at 04:30 at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, we complete our check-in procedures and then depart for Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. Upon our arrival in Milan at 08:45 local time, we transfer with our private vehicle waiting for us to the port of Genoa, where our MSC SEAVIEW ship is located. After the ship check-in and baggage procedures, we settle into our cabins and then have free time. After boarding the ship, our guide will hold a meeting introducing the ship and our tours, and then you can enjoy the ship until dinner. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 2 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 13:00 in the morning. Guests who wish may join the extra "Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)" organized by their guide. Sorrento is the birthplace of the poet Torquato Tasso, the land of colors, the homeland of mermaids, and the city of lemon trees and oranges. Having also hosted the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern city where goodness and hospitality come together and are passed down from generation to generation. After our Sorrento tour, we head to Capri. After the journey by fast ferry, we arrive at the island of Capri. Places to visit in Capri include the Capri town above the harbor and the "Ana Capri" town at the very top of the hill, the Augustus Gardens, and the shopping street. Those who wish can take the cable car from Ana Capri to the highest point of the island and have the chance to see a magnificent view. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 3 MESSINA (TAORMINA)
Our ship will dock at the port of Messina at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra "Taormina Tour" organized by our guide. On this tour, the world-famous town of Taormina will be visited by passing through magnificent scenic slopes. In Taormina, the Cathedral, Corvaia Palace, and the Roman Theatre (from outside) and Umberto Street are among the places we will see. After the free time we will give for shopping, return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 4 VALLETTA
Our ship will dock at the port of Valletta at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join our extra "Mosta & Valletta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk tour". Our first stop is Mosta. On this tour, we visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, which has the third largest dome in Europe. The interior paintings of this massive basilica, whose dome has an outer diameter of 56.2 meters, were made especially by painter Giuseppe Cali. We will see a replica of the 200 kg bomb that was dropped by German Nazi planes during World War II in 1942, pierced the dome, and stuck into the church floor without exploding, and we will learn about the church's interior and exterior architecture. Then we visit Mdina, the former capital of Malta, a natural set where many scenes of the famous series Game of Thrones were filmed. As we walk through the narrow streets of this medieval city known as the Silent City, we will see the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, Falson Manor built by the noble Falson family of Malta in the 13th century, the Carmelite Monastery built in Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and Mdina’s old houses. Afterwards, we continue our tour by visiting the fishing village called Marsaxlokk. You should not miss the scenery presented by the small charming fishing boats called Luzzo, with colors and designs unique to Malta. At the same time, in this charming fishing village where an open market is set up, we will have free time so that our guests who wish can have lunch at local restaurants with menus consisting of fresh fish and seafood. After our free time, we will set off towards Valletta. We will carry out our Valletta city tour. Valetta was chosen as the 2018 European Capital of Culture by the Council of Ministers of the European Union. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificently walled city of Valetta from the outside. After the bus tour, we will explore the city by walking through the lively streets of the capital Valletta with our guide. Our first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, built on the upper part of the defensive walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, also have a magnificent view of the Grand Harbor and the 3 old cities surrounded by walls. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 5 CRUISING AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can make use of the ship's open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or take advantage of the different music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different dining options await you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 6 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra "Barcelona City Tour" organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic district and port, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street, where Gaudi turned his houses into a street museum, and his most essential work, Sagrada Familia, are among the places we will see. During our tour, we will go up Montjuic hill and take panoramic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 7 MARSEILLE / AIX EN PROVANCE
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra "Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provance Tour" organized by our guide. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will begin our tour by first visiting the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. After this visit, the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the yacht harbor area are some of the places to be seen. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. It will begin with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral, with its Romanesque façade and covered arched passageway. Then, during the pleasant walk we will take in the old part of the city, you will see the ancient inns located there and the Mazarino district, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 8 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Genoa at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our ship departure procedures and then leave the ship. With our private vehicle waiting for us at the port, we head to Milan Airport. After arriving at the airport, following check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 19:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1816. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:25 local time. End of our tour.
