ABOUT THE GREEK GOVERNMENT EXTRA TAX:
As of July 21, 2025, the Greek Government, under the Sustainable Tourism Program has introduced a cruise passenger fee for all cruise guests visiting Greek ports. This mandatory fee applies to all guests passing through Greek ports, regardless of age; this includes port calls as well as the port of disembarkation. In accordance with the agreement made with the Greek authorities, MSC Cruises will pay this fee directly on behalf of the guests. The fee will be charged to the guests' onboard accounts the night after each port visit in Greece.
