DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN / GENOA
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, then depart for Milan at 06:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873. After our arrival in Milan at 08:45 local time, transfer to the port of Genoa where our COSTA SMERALDA ship will depart. After ship check-in and passport procedures, settle into cabins and free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVANCE )
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00. Free time for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provance Tour” arranged by their guides. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will begin our tour by first visiting Cathedral La Major, located on a high hill. After this visit, some of the sights to be seen include Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, which is 40 minutes from Marseille. It will begin with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral, with its Romanesque facade and covered arched passageway. Later, during a pleasant walk through the old part of the city, you will see the ancient inns there and the Mazarino district, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 3 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:00 in the morning. Free time for breakfast, shopping, and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Barcelona City Tour” arranged by their guides. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, will begin with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic district and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia street where Gaudi transformed houses into a street museum, and his most fundamental work, Sagrada Familia, are among the places we will see. During the tour, we will go up Montjuic Hill and take landscape photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. DAY 4 CRUISING AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can benefit from the ship’s open and covered pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who prefer can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy the various music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Different meal options will also be waiting for you طوال the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 5 CAGLIARI
Our ship will dock at the port of Cagliari at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Cagliari City Tour & Audarya Winery Vineyards Tour” arranged by their guides. With our private vehicle at the port, we set off toward Danilova, where Sardinia’s famous wines are produced. Along the way, we will stop at Poetto Beach, the most beautiful beach in Sardinia, and the Urpino Hill with its magnificent view, where we will take photos of pink flamingos. Later, we will visit a wine cellar in the region and get detailed information about the winemaking process. Guests who wish can do wine tasting. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 6 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 08:30. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Naples City Tour & Pompei Tour” arranged by their guides. Naples, the famous port of the Campania Region, is one of the few European cities of the ancient world that never completely disappeared. Founded by the Greeks and developed and expanded by the Romans, the city has been the most valuable treasure for foreign invaders throughout the centuries. Its extension to the present day is a noisy, high-crime, somewhat shabby, somewhat complex, but worth seeing metropolis. On this tour, while exploring human and house remains in Pompeii, buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will experience the incredible destruction nature can create and the power of nature. Afterwards, we will stop in Naples and, after a panoramic bus tour, see the Royal Square. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and accommodation on board.. DAY 7 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:00. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the extra “Rome City Tour” arranged by our guide. In this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we make a panoramic tour of Rome, where among the places to be seen are Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republica Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Later, we explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. Among the places to be seen are Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Fountain of Love, and the Spanish Steps, where we end our tour and take a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 8 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Savona at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our ship disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. Guests who wish may join the extra “Serravalle Outlet Tour” arranged by our guide. With our private vehicle waiting for us at the port, we depart for Serravalle Outlet, one of Italy’s most famous outlets, and free time for shopping. At the end of the tour, we head to Milan Malpensa Airport. After arrival at the airport and our check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul at 20:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1876. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 00:10 local time. End of our tour.
