DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – BARCELONA
After meeting at 05:00 in the morning in front of the THY counter at Istanbul Airport’s international terminal, we depart for Barcelona at 08:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. After our arrival in Barcelona at 10:45 local time, transfer to the Barcelona port where our Costa Smeralda ship will depart. After check-in and passport procedures on the ship, settle into cabins and free time. Our ship will depart the port at 18:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship
DAY 02 IBIZA
Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may get information from our guide and swim in Ibiza’s magnificent beaches, shop, and have lunch. Our ship will depart the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 03 AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can benefit from the ship’s outdoor and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who want may shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy the different music and entertainment performed in dozens of bars. Various food alternatives await you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 04 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized as an extra by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of Palermo’s and Sicily’s most beautiful holiday resorts. With its medieval structures, the town is both a place for shopping and for fully experiencing the spirit of Sicily. During our tour, the Norman cathedral and the ancient laundry house are among the places we will visit. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a city tour. Then we visit Monreale Monastery. We see the mosaic decoration covering a total of 6340 m2, depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Then return to the ship. Our ship will depart the port at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 05 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Rome City Tour” organized as an extra by our guide. On this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey with our bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we take a panoramic tour of Rome, where sites to see include Castel Sant’Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Teatro Marcello, Circus Maximus, and the Forum area. Then we explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. Places to see include Piazza del Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, where we finish the tour and take a shopping break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 SAVONA – GENOA - PORTOFINO
Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Genoa - Portofino Tour" organized as an extra by their guides. Departing from Savona by bus, we arrive in the neighboring port city of Genoa, the capital of an important seafaring kingdom that once ruled the Mediterranean geography, including Istanbul. The Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Doge’s Palace, and the House of Christopher Columbus are important points we will see. In the second part, we head to Portofino, a town of lovers, located 1 hour from Genoa and the subject of songs. After the free time we will spend in this peaceful seaside town, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 18:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE (AIX AN PROVANCE )
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish will depart for the “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provance Tour” organized as an extra by their guides. In Marseille, an important maritime city, we will start our tour by first visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. After this visit, the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area are some of the places to see. Then we will go to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. It will begin with the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral, with its Romanesque façade and covered arcaded passage. Then, during a pleasant walk in the old part of the city, you will see the ancient inns here and the Mazarino district, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin. Our ship will depart the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 BARCELONA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport with our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After passport and baggage procedures, depart for Istanbul at 13:35 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1856. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 19:15 local time. End of our tour.
