Day 01 ISTANBUL – COLOGNE
We meet at the designated time in front of the Pegasus Airlines counter in the International Terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Cologne on Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight PC 1011 at 08:15. We land in Cologne at 09:40 local time. After a panoramic city tour, we proceed to the port where our river cruise ship is located. Upon arrival at the port, after checking in on board the ship, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart at 17:00.
Day 02 NIJMEGEN
Our ship docks at Nijmegen Port at 04:00 in the morning. Guests who wish can join an extra walking tour of Nijmegen with our guide. Despite being the tenth largest city in the Netherlands, this beautiful city holds the title of the oldest city in the Netherlands with its 2000-year history founded by the Romans. On our walking tour, we will visit St. Stephen's Church, the Old Town Square, Nijmegen Cathedral, Grote Markt (Market Square), Monday Market, and the shopping street. After the tour, we have free time for shopping before returning to our ship. The ship will depart for Antwerp port at 12:00. Overnight on board.
Day 03 ANTWERP
After breakfast on board, guests who wish can join the extra organized Bruges and Ghent City Tour. After breakfast, we begin the city tour. After a journey of 1 hour and 15 minutes (90 km), we arrive in Bruges. Undoubtedly, Bruges is the most beautiful city we will see on this journey. Selected as a UNESCO World Heritage site and European Capital of Culture, the fact that the city was not affected by any wars over the years is the main reason it has reached us today without damage. Upon arrival in Bruges, we get off our bus at Zand Square. After a short walk, we move to the famous Market Square. Along the way, canals filled with swans, St. John's Hospital, Groote Markt, Fish Market, and Monasteries are among the places to see. At Market Square; after seeing the Belfry, Guildhalls, and Provincial building, we have free time. During our free time, you can buy nun lace, chocolates, and souvenirs from the shops in the square, or try flavors specific to Belgian cuisine in restaurants. Remember, Belgians have a special reputation for seafood. After visiting Bruges, you will agree why this city is called "a place you must see before you die." After the Bruges tour, we head to Ghent city (50 km). After arriving in Ghent and completing our walking tour, we move to our ship anchored at Antwerp port (50 km). Our ship will stay overnight in Antwerp.
Day 04 ANTWERP - ROTTERDAM
After breakfast, guests who wish will move to Brussels, the capital of the European Union, with our extra private bus (55 km). Upon arrival in Brussels, we first visit the Heysel area in the north of the city. Here we see the stadium known in sports history as the Heysel disaster. After visiting the Expo building and the Atomium building, which is 102 meters high built as a rival to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and taking a photo break, Chinese House, Japanese Tower, Royal Palace, European Union Headquarters, European Commission Building, and the Arch of Victory are among the places to see. After moving to the city center, in the walking tour section; famous Rue de Bouchere, Grand Place Square, and Manneken Pis statue are among the places to see. After our descriptions at the magnificent Grand Place Square, we have free time in the city. During this free time, we recommend you buy world-famous Belgian chocolates and try famous Belgian beers in the beautiful cafes located in the square. In the afternoon at 14:00, our ship will depart for Rotterdam. In the evening at 23:30, our ship will arrive in Rotterdam.
Day 05 ROTTERDAM - AMSTERDAM
After breakfast on board in the morning, guests who wish can join the Delft and Rotterdam city tour organized extra by our guide. Delft, which has the oldest history in the Netherlands, will also be the place where we give free time for lunch. Impressive Delft Cathedral, City Hall, and Market Square will be among the places we see. You can purchase porcelain products associated with the city of Delft. After our Delft tour, we move to Rotterdam. In the panoramic city tour to be done here; Euromast, Europort, Erasmus Bridge, Old Cruise Port, William Bridge, Cube Houses, and City Hall are among the places to see. Our ship will depart from Rotterdam at 13:00. It will arrive in Amsterdam at 20:30 in the evening.
Day 06 AMSTERDAM – NEW YEAR'S EVE
After breakfast in the morning, guests who wish will go to the north of Amsterdam, known as real Holland, where our guide organizes an extra trip to Volendam and Zaanse Schans. First, we visit the famous Zaanse region with all the windmills you see on every postcard introducing the Netherlands. Windmills dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries still function today; during our time here, you can tour inside the windmills (paid) and take very beautiful photos. After Zaanse, on the way to Volendam town, you will have the opportunity to taste and buy Holland's famous Gouda cheeses at a local cheese farm. Volendam is undoubtedly the town visited most by tourists coming to Holland; besides buying very cheap souvenirs, we recommend you definitely try Holland's famous Herring fish or Fish & Chips. In the evening, you can attend the New Year's Ball organized on our ship. Our ship will stay overnight in Amsterdam.
Day 07 AMSTERDAM - ARNHEIM
Our ship will depart from Amsterdam port at 14:00. After a pleasant day cruising on the river, it will dock in Arnheim at 22:00 in the evening. Overnight in Arnheim.
Day 08 ARNHEIM
In the morning, guests who wish will do an extra walking tour in Arnhem, followed by free time. Our ship will depart from Arnheim port for Cologne at 13:00 noon.
Day 09 COLOGNE – ISTANBUL
After breakfast on board and checkout procedures, we will transfer to Cologne Airport with our vehicle waiting for us at the port. After check-in, passport, and customs procedures, we depart for Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on Pegasus Airlines' flight PC10186 at 15:15. Arrival at 20:20 local time and end of the program.
Cancellation Conditions;
In cancellations made 121 days before the travel date starting from registration, the service fee is 200.-Euro per person,
25% of the total amount for cancellations made between 120 - 90 days,
50% for cancellations made between 89 - 60 days,
75% for cancellations made between 59 - 30 days,
In cancellations made between 29 – 0 days, 100% is forfeited.
About Nicko Rhein Symphonie
Our ship, completely renovated in 2026, is 135 meters long with 82 cabins and a capacity of 196 passengers. All cabins feature a seating area, TV, Wi-Fi service, safe, hair dryer, and other amenities.
This ship follows the award-winning model of Nicko Cruise vessels but offers even more innovative developments. While preserving the popular spaciousness concept, our ship includes not only expansive common areas but also larger cabins: The standout feature of the vessel is its indoor pool with a retractable roof for pleasant weather. In the evenings, this area can also be used for informative talks, events, and cinema screenings.
Panoramic Window Exterior Cabin - Lower Deck (13 m²): Spacious bathroom, small panoramic window (non-opening), large wardrobe, bed configuration choice (double or twin beds), flat-screen TV, personal climate control, en-suite bathroom with shower/WC, hair dryer, direct phone line, and in-room safe. Connecting cabins are also available upon request.
French Balcony Cabin - Middle or Upper Deck (16 m²): Spacious bathroom, opening panoramic window, mini bar, built-in closet, bed configuration choice (double or twin beds), flat-screen TV, personal climate control, en-suite bathroom with shower/WC, hair dryer, direct phone line, and in-room safe.
Things You Need to Know About Our River Tours;
- For our tour, a minimum of 20 participants is required for Turkish-speaking guide services. Our tour has fixed departure dates. Guests holding general (red) passports require a visa. Multiple-entry / Multiple Schengen visas are required.
- Guests holding green passports and service passports do not require a visa.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of your travel and must not be older than 10 years.
- Obtaining Euros in advance before your trip will facilitate cash payments during your shopping.
- You may request a tax refund form for purchases totaling 100 Euros or more. After completing customs procedures at the last point of exit from the European Union, you can process your tax refund using this form.
- River cruise ships do not have doctors or medical personnel on board. In case of emergencies, the reception will summon medical teams from the nearest health facility to the ship within a very short time. However, for any medical needs, our ship stops at the location closest to medical institutions to assist in urgently transferring ill guests to hospitals or other facilities. Additionally, we recommend that you carry your regularly used medications with their prescriptions and obtain comprehensive travel health insurance.
- Healthcare services provided on the ship and at healthcare facilities are chargeable.
- We do not anticipate any health-threatening issues with the meals served during your river cruise. However, when you are off the ship, please exercise caution regarding food and drink: definitely consume bottled water only, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that are thoroughly cooked, and choose fruits such as bananas and pineapples whose peels can be removed.
- Since it is possible to enter different countries during your journey, each port visited by the ship will specify a designated time. As boarding and disembarking times depend on the local time of the respective port, please adjust your schedules accordingly.
- During the river cruise, especially when crossing borders, your mobile phone line is used if it is enabled for international calls (roaming). Sometimes, signal loss may occur in forested areas where there are no base stations.
- For the Captain's Welcome & Farewell Cocktail nights included in your tour program, we recommend that male guests bring a suit and female guests bring an evening gown. If traveling in summer, we suggest bringing easy-to-wear t-shirts, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket, and a thin sweater for evenings. Additionally, you may bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against potential noise, cameras, video cameras, their chargers, and spare memory cards. During winter, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm. The open areas of the ship can be cool in all seasons while cruising.
- Main meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the ship's main restaurant. Additionally, afternoon tea and light snacks are served in the upper lounge area.
- The electrical outlets in the cabins are the same as those in Turkey.
- Accommodations at hotels before or after the river cruise itinerary may not meet the same standards as our river ship, and similar services should not be expected. During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located farther than the specified kilometers. Triple rooms may be assigned based on hotel availability; in such rooms, the bed provided for the third person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed and one extra bed. Since these extra beds are foldable or convertible sofa beds, participants booking triple rooms (including the third person and/or children) are deemed to have accepted potential crowding and the type of bedding. Child discounts apply only to one child accompanying two adults and falling within the age group specified in the pricing section.
- If accommodation is provided at a hotel other than our ship as part of the tour package, breakfasts are served according to the local country's breakfast culture, typically as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall dedicated to the group.
