Many of the tourists who visit the town, usually during the summer months, leave dreaming of settling here one day. Geiranger, one of the largest fjords on the coast of western Norway, is a small town where you will see incredible views amid lush green nature. The town, whose fjords were included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005, welcomes an average of 300,00 cruise passengers every year. Those who wish may join the “Hellesylt & Geiranger Tour” organized optionally by their guides. Two fascinating villages at the fork at the end of the Storfjord… Initially a postal route heading north… Now a tourism center… Our tour begins in Geiranger, and you will be enchanted by the views from the terrace where we can see Dalsnibba Mountain at an altitude of 1,476 m, following the Eagle Road, and from the Flydal viewing platform. After time allocated for personal activities, we will visit Tvindefossen (Twin Falls), one of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls, whose water is believed to give youth and strength to those who drink it. While enjoying our coffees on the terrace of Stalhaim Hotel, one of the world’s most prestigious hotels, you will experience an unforgettable natural spectacle overlooking the 13-zigzag canyon, the most popular route in the north since 1840. Following our stop in the Viking village of Gudvangen, our tour will end at the port where our ship is anchored in Flam, reached by passing through tunnels. Then return to the ship.
