• To benefit from the Advantageous Excursion package prices on extra tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If fewer than 10 people participate, the tour prices may change or the tour may be operated by metro. Our guide may change the dates of extra tours provided that their content remains the same.
• Prices for extra tours may change depending on regional demand or the period. The prices valid at the time of purchase from the guide will apply to extra tours.
• When only category information is provided in the tour program without specifying names and/or when options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the excursion departure.
• In our programs, the guide will meet you at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip area transfers. If extra tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
• Guests must notify the guide of extra tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the requested extra tour may vary depending on the local supplier’s final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such a case, BTB Tours will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting no more than 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of cities and conducted panoramically with a guide’s narration from inside the vehicle, without including museum or archaeological-site entrances. 
• BTB Tours is not responsible if panoramic tours and other tours specified in the program cannot take place when the places to be visited are closed by local authorities on the relevant day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot where possible, on closed roads or at locations where vehicle access is not permitted.
• In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the arrival airport. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time given by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as such. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• We recommend that guests do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency in order to avoid being affected by exchange-rate differences. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks in the destinations. Therefore, extra tour reservations will not be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language skills.

GENERAL TERMS

• At the time of booking, the tour program and the general terms and obligations set out below must be communicated to guests. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints that may arise despite the information provided. Our guests are deemed to have read and accepted all terms in advance.
• Guests traveling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their flight from Türkiye may not be operated by the airline. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
• To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed; if the country applies visas to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any resulting impediment is the guests’ responsibility.                   
• BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when deemed necessary, and BTB TOURS has no responsibility if the passenger cannot obtain a visa. BTB TOURS only undertakes the role of intermediary. BTB TOURS has no obligation or responsibility for personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
• When BTB TOURS applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. BTB TOURS is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that could prevent boarding.
• Obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) normally takes 1 business day. Our guests must arrange their appointment dates and times considering this period. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for possible disruptions.
• If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not or cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the BTB TOUR Visa Department and this visa service is specified as an additional service in the travel agreement, and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date to prove that they did not use the visa. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the assistance of another visa intermediary company and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and flight time may change, and since hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were communicated at the time of the agreement, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF A CHANGE IN FLIGHT TIME AND A HOTEL CHANGE.
• Triple rooms are provided depending on hotel availability. Triple rooms include an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, a block will be made by the hotel subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• The breakfast served at hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
• At the time of reservation/registration, the first and last name as shown on the passport to be used for travel, date of birth, and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for cancellation or changes to flight tickets resulting from incorrect information are the guest’s responsibility.
• Whether obtained from BTB TOURS or not, our guests must have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If a guest is subject to such a fine because they did not carry travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for another or multiple countries or being unable to enter through a border gate. Since this is beyond BTB TOURS’ control, the parties acknowledge that BTB TOURS has no responsibility in such a situation.
• For the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits, guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the extra excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and our tour will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are excursions organized to introduce cities. City tours and extra excursions may be arranged on different days, provided their content remains unchanged, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, BTB TOURS is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable alternative possible. Extra tours are organized subject to a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, extra tours may not take place or the price may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot be conducted.
• Airline seats in our programs are group seats, and outbound and return flights are issued as a single ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically forfeited. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute flight delays and gate changes are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. This information must be followed by passengers. If the flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and obtain a new ticket at their own expense (if necessary, as a round-trip ticket according to the previous clause). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; responsibility in this case belongs to the guest. Furthermore, if the guest travels to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group’s, the area-to-city or area-to-hotel transfer is the guest’s responsibility.
• Guests who wish to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided that there is availability on the relevant airline’s relevant flight. Since the airline seats in our programs are in group class, before upgrading the requested ticket, if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the fare difference specified by the airline and move the ticket from group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure.
• To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Türkiye you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is enabled for international calls/incoming calls.
• During your trip, when leaving the transportation vehicles you use or the hotels where you stay, either temporarily or completely, please make sure that you have collected all your belongings.
• BTB TOURS may change the order of cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program when force majeure events occur or when it deems necessary.
• BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
• BTB TOURS is not responsible for belongings forgotten, lost, or stolen during the tour.
• Children under 18 traveling with their mother must obtain a consent letter from their father; those traveling with their father must obtain one from their mother; and those traveling with a third person must obtain one from both parents. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight cannot take place due to the absence of a consent letter.
• The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
