Important Information Regarding Flight Tours

  • In flight tours, all operations related to flights are subject to the airline contract terms.
  • Cancellation insurance does not cover air travel.
  • A tiered pricing system is applied; advertised prices start from the lowest class.
  • Economy class flights are used in flight tour programs.
  • Flight tickets are issued as round-trip together. If the outbound flight is not used, the return flight also becomes invalid due to airlines' "sequential use" rule. Therefore, participation in only the return flight is not possible.

 

Museum – Archaeological Site – National Park Entries

All museum, archaeological site, and national park entry fees are borne by our guests. To take advantage at museums and sites where the Museum Card is valid, guests can obtain the card from sales points before or during the tour.

Packaged Price Coverage

Our package tour prices include hotel accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing specified in the program.

Rest Stops

Stops are made at rest facilities along the route. Due to congestion, renovation, or other compelling reasons, stop locations may be changed, provided they are equivalent in service quality and location.

Extra Tours and Program Flow

Night tours and extra excursions included in the tour program are organized depending on the number of participants and the availability of staff. Extra tours conducted along the route may take place even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not wish to join an extra tour will be directed by our guide to rest areas before city entrances or to city centers. In this case, guests who agree to wait at the rest area are considered to have participated in the tour.

Due to weather conditions, road status, or similar reasons, the guide may make changes to the program sequence (daily visit points or between days) if deemed necessary.

Go-Turkey cannot be held responsible for points that are part of the program but cannot be visited due to compelling reasons (weather conditions, road status, congestion at visit points, etc.) or because guests fail to adhere to the timing given by the guide.

Health Declaration

Guests must carry reports and information regarding any health issues they may experience during the tour, pregnancy status, or medications they continuously use.

Accommodation Information

The hotel names specified in the program are priority accommodations. Changes to hotels may be made depending on availability. At the latest 48 hours before the tour departure, upon request, accommodation details will be shared with our guests. In case of hotel changes due to congestion or compelling reasons, provided standards remain the same, guests will be informed by Go-Turkey authorities.

Cancellation Conditions

To avoid inconvenience in cases of possible cancellations, changes, and similar special situations, we particularly recommend choosing the Go-Turkey Cancellation Guarantee Package. The following conditions will apply to guests who do not purchase the Cancellation Guarantee Package.

 

All cancellation and refund processes are evaluated according to the Provisions on Package Tourism prepared under Law No. 1618 on Travel Agencies and the provisions of the Package Tour Contract arranged in compliance with this regulation. We would like to remind you that travel agencies operate within the framework of Law No. 1618 and that all services are provided in compliance with legal regulations.

 

General cancellation conditions according to the Package Tourism Regulation are summarized as follows:

  1. There is no right of cancellation and refund for flight tours and tours announced within the promotion scope.
  2. Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge until 30 days before the tour start date.
    • In cancellations made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies,
    • In cancellations made 20 days or less before the tour date, a 100% penalty applies.
  3. In case of a cancellation request due to health problems of the participant or their first-degree relatives, the fee refund is processed by the insurance company. For this, a health report obtained from state hospitals in Turkey and signed by the chief physician or at least two doctors must be submitted to the insurance company. Insurance coverage does not include pre-diagnosed chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, etc.

 

Cancellation and Refund Conditions

Go-Turkey reserves the right to cancel the tour up to 20 days before the tour departure date if the required number of participants is not reached. In such a case, guests will be informed directly.

 

 

Advantage of Cancellation Guarantee Package

You can get the Go-Turkey Cancellation Guarantee Package starting from prices of 10 TL. With this package, you can cancel your reservation 72 hours before the tour start date without submitting any document or reason. The paid amount will be refunded within 10 working days using the same payment method.

 

The Cancellation Guarantee Package is valid only for bus tours. In flight tours, the refund calculation is made excluding the airfare.

Sivas - Divriği - Atatürk Congress Museum - Buruciye Madrasa - Gök Madrasa - Divriği Grand Mosque and Hospital - Divriği Ceramic Terrace

On the first day of our tour, we will be ready at Adnan Menderes Airport at 04:30 to complete our baggage and check-in procedures. Then, we begin our journey with Pegasus Airlines' 06:30 flight from İzmir to Sivas. After our flight, we arrive in Sivas. Meeting our guide and vehicle at the airport, we start exploring Sivas, the heart of the Seljuk era, a living summary of history with its century-old stone monuments that form the foundation of the Republic.

After breakfast, we begin our historical and cultural exploration of central Sivas. Our first stop is the Sivas Congress Square, which holds great significance for our National Struggle history. Next, we visit the Atatürk and Congress Museum, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the Representation Committee conducted their work during the National Struggle period. As part of our city tour, we see important historical structures in Sivas, including the Çifte Minareli Medrese, Kale Hamamı, Buruciye Medrese, Şifahiye Medrese, and Gök Medrese. These monuments, dating back to the Seljuk period and reaching us to the present day, allow us to closely experience Sivas's rich historical fabric. After our tour, we take a lunch break. After lunch, we depart for Divriği. Upon arrival in Divriği, we visit one of the region's most important historical structures, the Divriği Great Mosque and Darüşşifa. This unique masterpiece, notable for its stonework and architectural details, stands out as one of Anatolia's most significant cultural heritages.

Next, we visit the Mühürdarzade Mansion, which reflects the traditional architectural fabric of Divriği. Continuing our tour, we go up to the Divriği Glass Terrace. On the glass terrace, where we can enjoy panoramic views of the region's impressive natural scenery, we take a photo break. After our tour, we head towards the hotel. Overnight stay and dinner at our hotel.

Divriği - Kemaliye - Arapgir - Elazığ

After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to Kemaliye. Upon arrival in Kemaliye, we explore the surroundings of one of the region's most striking natural beauties, Karanlık Canyon. Alongside the canyon's high cliffs and impressive geography, we get up close with Kemaliye's natural wonders. For guests who wish, we take a boat tour on special canyon boats (Extra) that are suitable for Karanlık Canyon's hard rocky conditions and can move even in 60 cm of water. These boats navigate through Karanlık Canyon, one of the world's largest canyons, which is approximately 9 km long. During this enjoyable boat tour, we listen to the sound of silence amidst the magnificent scenery and photograph mountain goats descending to the water's edge. For adventure and adrenaline enthusiasts, interested guests can also participate in the Karanlık Canyon Zipline (extra) activity.

Next, we visit Lökhaneyi, which reflects Kemaliye's local culture and gastronomic heritage. Continuing our tour, we see the Mani Yolu, a historical and cultural site unique to Kemaliye, where verses written by women longing for their husbands who left during the Ottoman era are displayed. Then, we proceed along the Taş Yol route, one of the region's most remarkable engineering structures. For guests who wish, a Taş Yol Jeep Safari (extra) activity will be organized. This activity offers an opportunity to explore Kemaliye's impressive geography more closely and provides a chance to experience the region's natural beauty in a different way.

After our tour, we take a lunch break. After lunch, we head towards Elazığ via Arapgir. On our route, we stop for photos at the Başpınar Governor Recep Yazıcıoğlu Bridge. Next, we visit the Arapgir Onar Village Big Hearth Cem House and get to know the region's cultural fabric up close.

Subsequently, we head to the Keban Dam View Terrace. At this scenic viewpoint, where we can see the dam and its surroundings panoramically, we take a short photo break. After our tour, we move towards Elazığ. Overnight stay and dinner at our hotel.

Elazığ - Harput - Pertek - Tunceli - Munzur - Elazığ Airport

After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to the Harput region, one of the important centers shedding light on Elazığ's historical past. Located in the high areas of Elazığ, Harput has hosted various civilizations throughout history and is an important cultural center known for its stone architecture, historical texture, and commanding position over the region. Here, we conduct a short panoramic tour to closely observe Harput's historical atmosphere and the view dominating Elazığ. After our visit to Harput, we move towards the Pertek Ferry. During the ferry journey across Keban Dam Lake, we proceed towards Tunceli accompanied by the mountainous geography of the region and the impressive landscapes created by the dam lake. The ferry journey offers the opportunity to see the natural beauties of the region from the water, unlike the road route.

After arriving in Tunceli, we turn our route towards the Munzur Valley, one of the most important natural areas of the region. While proceeding amidst the impressive landscapes of the valley stretching between the mountains, we have the opportunity to closely explore Tunceli's unique natural structure. During our journey along Munzur Valley, the clean air, steep mountains, and lush greenery of the region add a different atmosphere to our tour. After the Munzur Valley route, we visit the Ana Fatma Pilgrimage Site, which holds cultural and religious significance for the local people. Here, we make a short visit to closely get acquainted with the region's cultural texture and traditional way of life. Continuing our tour, we turn our route towards Ovacık. Upon reaching Ovacık, one of the regions of Tunceli known for its natural beauties, we proceed amidst the impressive landscapes of the Munzur Mountains and arrive at the Munzur Springs (Gözeleri).

Munzur Springs are one of the most striking points of the region where clear and cold waters emerge from between the rocks, surrounded by natural beauties. Here, we find the opportunity for a walk and exploration immersed in nature, enjoying the natural atmosphere created by the springs that form the source of Munzur. We give free time for taking photos and admiring the unique landscape of the region. Afterwards, we move towards the surroundings of Ziyaret Stream. Accompanied by the streams completing the natural beauties of the Munzur geography and the mountainous landscape around them, we conduct a short exploration. After spending time in the quiet and natural atmosphere of the region, we head towards Tunceli city center. Upon reaching Tunceli city center, we conduct our panoramic Tunceli city tour. Seeing the general texture of the city and the mountainous geography around it, we bid farewell to the region. Then, we give free time to our guests. During this period, interested guests can take a short walk in the city center, examine local products, or evaluate the region according to their own programs.

After our free time, we move towards the Pertek Ferry and begin our return journey towards Elazığ via Keban Dam Lake. During the ferry journey, we bid a final panoramic farewell to the mountainous geography of Tunceli and the natural beauties of the region.

After arriving in Elazığ, we head to Elazığ Airport. Upon reaching the airport, after leaving behind beautiful memories in our journey extending from Sivas starting point through Divriği, Kemaliye, Arapgir, Elazığ, and Tunceli route, we say goodbye to meet again in another tour.
