Important Notes:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months is required to cover the minimum tour duration for this tour.
  • Bluemaxx Travel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955.
  • During registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number appearing on the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Any flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests as no-show fees.
  • The city where the plane lands may vary. Bluemaxx Travel cannot be held responsible for time changes made by airlines or any potential delays.
  • Airline rules apply to group tickets; according to group ticket regulations, if the outbound flight is not used, the return flight also cannot be used.
  • The general checked baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. On domestic flights within the destination countries, this allowance may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not under the responsibility of Bluemaxx Travel.
  • If there is insufficient number of participants for the package tour, the cancellation will be communicated to the consumer 20 days in advance.
  • The tour route specified in the program is an example route, and changes may occur in the actual tour itinerary. City sightseeing tours may be conducted on the following day(s) depending on the arrival time in the city. Sightseeing activities specified in the programs may be carried out on a different day(s) than indicated due to any reason at the guide's discretion.

Tour Program
Day 1 Istanbul – Tunis

Meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport's international departures terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Tunis on Turkish Airlines flight TK661 at 07:50. Upon arrival in Tunis at 08:45 local time, our city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us in the area. Among the places to visit are Habib Bourguiba Boulevard, known as "Champs Elsysees Boulevard" of Tunis; Independence Square; the Clock Tower, which has become a symbol of the city; and St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, the largest structure from Tunisia's colonial period to reach the present day. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in the Hammamet region and have free time. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in the Hammamet region.

Day 2 Tunisia

After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we join the Grand Historical Trails of Tunisia (Tunis & Carthage & Sidi Bou Said & Bardo Museum). Our tour begins in Tunis. In addition to being the capital of the country, this city is also a political, commercial and cultural center, where we will have the opportunity to witness the blend of modern and old Tunis. Then we move on to Carthage, which is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List, founded by the Phoenicians and once one of the centers of the Roman Empire in Africa. After the lunch break, we head to Sidi Bou Said, the pearl of Tunisia. In this enchanting town famous for its cobblestone streets and blue-and-white houses, after taking a photo break with a view of the Mediterranean Sea, our next and final stop will be the Bardo Museum, which is one of the most important museums in the Mediterranean region. The museum houses a rich marble collection featuring Roman gods and emperors, as well as the world's largest collection of Roman mosaics. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in the Hammamet area.

Day 3 Tunisia

After breakfast at the hotel, we join the Magnificent Ancient Cities (Kairouan & El Djem & Sousse) tour. Our tour begins with Kairouan, a holy city considered the fourth most important in Islam after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem, and home to the Great Mosque, one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the region. Next, we will see the impressive ruins of North Africa's largest coliseum in El Djem. After viewing this magnificent structure, which once held 35,000 spectators watching gladiator fights during the region's golden age, we proceed to Sousse, the country's third-largest city and one of its main tourist centers. In this city, famous for its stunning views, its labyrinthine medina markets, and its walls, we will have lunch before heading back to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel in the Hammamet area.

Day 4 Tunisia – Istanbul

After having breakfast at the hotel, we complete our check-out procedures. Then, we depart for the airport at the time announced by our guide. Following baggage and ticket procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 664 at 17:55. We arrive at 22:45 local time, concluding our tour.
