Need to Know

Intermediation and Liability: Bluemaxx Travel acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Flight times may change, and all times must be confirmed 48 hours before the departure dates. Routes may vary depending on the city where the aircraft lands. You can obtain information about flight times from our offices or your sales representative. Bluemaxx Travel cannot be held responsible for schedule changes or delays that may be made by airlines.
Flight Procedures: Passengers participating in tours with flights are personally responsible for check-in and boarding procedures, which must be completed at the airline counters at the airport or online before the flight. Last-minute delays and gate changes are announced over the airport public-address systems and displayed on information boards. This information must be monitored.
Participation in the Tour: Bluemaxx Travel is not responsible for passengers who fail to be present at the specified airport at the times notified by Bluemaxx Travel, fail to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or fail to board the aircraft and therefore cannot take their flight. The cost of new round-trip flight tickets and regional transfer expenses required for passengers who miss their flight to join the tour shall be borne by the passengers themselves.
Program and Meals: The excursions specified in the programs may, due to compelling circumstances, be conducted on days other than those indicated. Lunches and dinners included in the program may be served at restaurants designated by the agency when deemed necessary or due to changes in flight times. Panoramic city tours are tours lasting 2–3 hours, organized to introduce the cities. City tours and optional tours may be organized on different days, provided that their content remains unchanged. Optional tour prices may vary according to the content and number of participants.
Cancellation of the Tour: Panoramic tours and other program tours may not take place because local authorities do not permit visits or due to closed roads. Bluemaxx Travel is not responsible when these tours cannot take place because weather conditions make them impossible. In locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted, the tours may be conducted by public transportation or on foot.
Optional Tours: Excursions indicated as optional in the program may not take place if there is insufficient participation. Optional tours along the route will be conducted even without the participation of all passengers. Guests who do not participate will be directed by the guide to rest areas. Passengers who do not participate in optional tours along the route shall be deemed to have participated in the tour by agreeing to wait at the rest stop.
Personal Belongings: Participants in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, and luggage. If forgotten, lost, or stolen belongings are found, any expenses incurred while delivering them to the country or person concerned shall be borne by the owner of the belongings.
Hotel and Accommodation: Bluemaxx Travel reserves the right to change hotel names. In rooms for three people, an extra bed may be provided, and these beds may consist of beds known as folding beds or coach beds. Therefore, in reservations for a third person and/or children, any crowding that may occur in the rooms and the type of bed shall be deemed accepted. The child prices stated in the price list are valid when the child stays with two adults. The continental breakfast served at hotels consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice. Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
Insurance and Health: Participants must carry their travel insurance with them during the trip. When participating in the tour, it is mandatory to carry reports concerning health problems, pregnancy, and medications used on a regular basis.
Other Notes: Tours may be combined with tours of other agencies. In this case, Bluemaxx Travel guests are under the responsibility of Bluemaxx Travel. During busy periods (fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc.), hotels may be located farther away than the specified distances. In such cases, information will be provided 15 days before the tour departure date. When children under the age of 18 do not participate in the tour together with one or both of their parents, they must carry consent forms with them during the trip.
Passport Validity Date: For all our passengers traveling abroad, the initial issuance date of their currently valid passports must not be more than 10 years old. In addition, their passports must remain valid for 6 months as of the end of the trip. If guests who will renew their passports do not provide valid passport information at the time of purchase, they are obliged to share their updated passport information through the channel from which they made the purchase in the following days.

Hotel check-in times are between 15:00 and 17:00 / Check-out times are between 10:00 and 12:00.

In Japan, the standard room type at hotels is generally a Twin room with two separate single beds. A request for one double bed is subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed.

As the room sizes at hotels in Japan are limited, it is not possible for three adults to stay in the same room (Triple).

Transportation between Kyoto and Tokyo will be provided by high-speed train in order to save time and ensure comfort. For this day, it is sufficient for our guests to take only hand luggage containing their necessities for one night. Large suitcases will be collected from the hotel and delivered directly to the accommodation hotel in Tokyo.

We meet with our valued guests at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal approximately 3 hours before the flight time (one calendar day prior to the departure date). After completing baggage drop and passport procedures, we depart for Tokyo on Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Tokyo, we complete passport and baggage procedures, then meet our private vehicle waiting for us and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast, we begin our city tour of Tokyo. Our first stop is Shibuya, known as the center for entertainment and cultural experiences. One of Tokyo's most famous and vibrant districts, Shibuya is home to one of the world's busiest pedestrian crossings (Shibuya Scramble Crossing). For those who wish to feel Tokyo's energy, the sight of hundreds of people moving at once with every traffic light change offers a unique experience. We will see the Hachiko statue, built in memory of a loyal dog and popular as a meeting point for both locals and tourists, along with many famous shopping malls, and enjoy our free time. Our next stop will be Yodobashi Electric Town in Akihabara, where you can find hundreds of electronic brands together at affordable prices. After our free time for shopping, we move on to the Ginza district, which reflects the elegance and sophisticated lifestyle of modern Japan. Following our visit to Ginza, home to world-famous brands and Tokyo's most exclusive shopping centers and restaurants, we are given free time for lunch. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Tokyo

TOKYO – MT. FUJI – HAKONE – LAKE ASHI – OSHINO HAKKAI – GOTEMBA OUTLET – TOKYO

After breakfast, we depart for Mt. Fuji, located in the southwest of Honshu Island, one of Tokyo's iconic landmarks and Japan's highest mountain. First, we head to Hakone in Kanagawa Prefecture, renowned for its stunning views of Mt. Fuji and natural beauty. There, our guests will enjoy a boat tour on Lake Ashi to take in this magnificent scenery. After a photo stop, we continue by bus to Oshino Hakkai, an area where melting snowmelt combines with underground water to form natural pools. The volcanic rocks naturally filter the water, resulting in crystal-clear pools. These pools, varying in size and depth, offer breathtaking reflections of Mt. Fuji. Following our guided tour, we proceed to Gotemba Premium Outlets, one of Japan's largest outlet shopping centers. After the allocated free time, we transfer back to our hotel for rest and leisure.

TOKYO – ASAKUSA SENSO-JI TEMPLE – NAKAMISE – GINZA – TOKYO

After breakfast, we begin our city tour to explore the blend of Tokyo's past and modern life. Our first stop is Senso-ji Temple, one of the city's iconic landmarks located in the Asakusa district. Recognized as Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, this historic structure was built in honor of Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy, according to legend, after two fishermen discovered her statue. Completed in 645 AD, the temple welcomes visitors through its magnificent Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate). After passing through the gate, we enjoy a pleasant walk along Nakamise Shopping Street, approximately 200 meters long, leading to the temple. This historic street preserves traditional Japanese atmosphere; here you can browse handmade souvenirs, kimonos, folding fans, and various local products. Guests may also sample Asakusa's famous street foods and traditional Japanese flavors. Passing through Hozomon Gate at the end of the street, we visit Senso-ji Temple. Continuing our city tour, we proceed to Ginza, one of Tokyo's most popular and prestigious districts. Known for its wide boulevards, modern architecture, luxury shops, art galleries, and upscale cafes, this area offers an opportunity to discover Tokyo's elegant side. After the guided tour with our guide's commentary, we are given free time to shop, explore the area at your leisure, and take a meal break. At the end of the free time, we meet at the designated point and head back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Tokyo

TOKYO – ARASHIYAMA BAMBOO FOREST – KINKAKUJI TEMPLE – KIYOMIZU-DERA – FUSHIMI INARI – KYOTO

After breakfast, we transfer to Kyoto via Shinkansen (bullet train). We begin with our private bus. With our private vehicle, we set off for Kyoto, Japan's former capital and one of the best-preserved centers of traditional culture, famous for its temples, gardens, and traditional neighborhoods. After approximately one hour of travel, we start our city tour. During World War II, Kyoto was the only city in Japan that was not bombed. The city is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Our city tour begins at Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Visitors are welcomed by a 500-meter walking path. Along this route, you will enjoy pleasant moments listening to the sound of the wind passing through the bamboo groves and take photos of the forest scenery. Next, we continue our tour to Kinkakuji Temple. Located in northern Kyoto, Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion, is a Zen temple whose top two floors are entirely covered in gold leaf. The impressive structure overlooking a large pond features each floor representing a different architectural style. Then, we proceed to Kiyomizu-dera. Kiyomizu-dera is an independent Buddhist temple located in eastern Kyoto. As one of the historic monuments of ancient Tokyo, the temple has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Directly beneath the main hall is the Otowa Waterfall, where water flows into a pond through three channels. According to belief, these channels symbolize knowledge, health, and longevity, respectively. Next, we move to another important temple in the city, Fushimi Inari. Famous as one of Japan's most renowned Shinto shrines and particularly known for its thousands of orange Torii gates, after visiting this shrine, we proceed to our final stop: Fushimi Inari Taisha, which is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After our temple visit with a beautiful view of Kyoto, we transfer back to our hotel and have free time to rest.

Transportation between Tokyo and Kyoto will be conducted via high-speed train to ensure time savings and comfort. For this day, guests need only bring carry-on luggage sufficient for overnight needs. Large suitcases will be collected from the hotel and delivered directly to the accommodation hotel in Kyoto.

Osaka

KYOTO – TODAIJI TEMPLE - NARA DEER PARK – OSAKA

After breakfast, we complete our hotel check-out procedures and depart for our Nara tour. Our tour begins with Todaiji Temple. Built in 752 to serve as the head of all Buddhist temples, the temple gradually grew in influence and began to affect politics by the 8th century. The main hall of Todaiji is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest wooden structure. This massive building houses one of Japan's largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). Next, we visit Nara Park, a large park located in the center of Nara. Established in 1880, it is home to most of Nara's major attractions, including Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji, and the Nara National Museum. It also hosts hundreds of freely roaming deer. After taking photos with the deer wandering around, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

Osaka

OSAKA - OSAKA CASTLE - DOTONBORI - SHINSAIBASHI – OSAKA

After breakfast, we depart by our private bus for the Osaka City Tour & Osaka Castle & Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi. Our first stop will be Osaka Castle, one of the city's most important historical landmarks. Built in the 16th century by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this magnificent structure is one of the key symbols of Japan's unification period and offers visitors an impressive historical atmosphere along with its expansive park grounds. Continuing our tour, we move to Dotonbori, one of Osaka's liveliest and most iconic districts. Here, we enjoy a pleasant exploration of the area, known for its colorful neon lights, bustling streets, and famous restaurants, getting up close with Osaka's identity as the "culinary capital" of the region. Next, we proceed to Shinsaibashi, Osaka's most popular shopping and lifestyle street. In this district filled with long shopping arcades, international brands, and local boutiques, guests are given free time. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

OSAKA - ISTANBUL +1

After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures from the hotel. We are transferred to the airport at the time determined by our guide, and after completing baggage and ticket procedures there, our flight with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul begins. Upon our arrival in Istanbul according to local time, our tour concludes. We hope to see you again on another of our tours.
