IMPORTANT NOTES

• To benefit from the advantageous excursion package prices on optional tours, the fee must be paid to the local agency representative during the tour.
• Optional tours take place with a minimum participation of 10 people. If participation is below 10 people, tour prices may change or the tour may be carried out by metro. Our guide may change the days of the optional tours provided that their content remains the same.
• Prices for optional tours may change depending on regional demand or the period. The prices quoted by the guide at the time of purchase will apply.
• When only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or when there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by your agency 48 hours before the excursion departure.
• In our programs, the guide will meet you at the destination. The guiding service included in the package covers only the panoramic city tour and round-trip airport transfers. If optional tours are purchased, guiding service will also be provided. A different guide may accompany our guests during optional tours.
• Guests must notify the guide of optional tour cancellations or changes at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation and refund conditions of the requested optional tour may vary depending on the local supplier’s final decision.
• During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified kilometres. In such a case, BTB Tours will provide information 2 days before the tour departure date.
• Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of no more than 2-3 hours, arranged for a general introduction to the cities and conducted panoramically with the guide’s commentary from inside the vehicle; they do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. 
• BTB Tours is not responsible if panoramic tours or other tours specified in the program cannot take place because local authorities close the places to be visited on the relevant day and time, roads along the route are closed due to an event, or weather conditions make the tour impossible. Some tours may be carried out by public transport or on foot, where possible, at locations with closed roads or where vehicle access is not permitted.
• In our tour programs, the guide meets guests at the airport of arrival. For return transfers, guests must be ready at the reception of the hotel where they are staying before the pickup time given by the guide.
• The hotels listed in the program are offered for sale as examples, etc. Hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods. Therefore, a similar alternative hotel may be provided.
• To prevent guests from being affected by exchange-rate differences, we recommend that they do not exchange large amounts of foreign currency. Old/worn foreign currency is not accepted by banks at the destinations. Therefore, optional tour reservations cannot be made using old-style foreign currency that banks will not accept.
• As our package tours are intended for travel abroad, guests are responsible for their own foreign-language skills.

GENERAL TERMS

• At the time of reservation, it is mandatory to communicate the tour program and the general terms and obligations below to the guests. BTB TOURS is not responsible for complaints that may arise within the scope of the information provided. Our guest is deemed to have read and accepted all clauses in advance.
• Guests travelling with a Turkish Republic green passport must renew their passports if the date of issue is more than 10 years ago. Otherwise, they may not be admitted to the country they are visiting and/or their airline may not allow them to fly from Turkey. In such a case, responsibility belongs to the passenger, and BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible in any way.
• To avoid problems with customs police at the border of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or otherwise damaged passports, such passports must be renewed; if the country applies visas to Turkish Republic citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, responsibility belongs to the passenger.
• Guest passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the return flight date. Otherwise, any impediment is the responsibility of the guests.                    
• BTB TOURS acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate. The consulate has the right not to issue a visa when it deems necessary; BTB TOURS has no responsibility regarding the passenger’s inability to obtain a visa. BTB TOURS only undertakes the role of intermediary. BTB TOURS has no liability or enforcement responsibility for personal visa applications. Consumers have registered for the tour by accepting these terms.
• When BTB TOURS applies for a visa as an intermediary between the passenger and the consulate, the guest must check the accuracy of the information on the issued visa. BTB TOURS is not responsible for any incorrect spelling on the visa or for any resulting situation that could prevent boarding.
• Under normal circumstances, obtaining the documents required by passengers who will apply for their own visas (hotel confirmation, flight ticket, etc.) takes 1 business day. Guests must arrange their appointment dates and times taking this period into account. Otherwise, BTB TOURS is not responsible for any possible disruptions.
• If the guest cancels their reservation and/or does not/cannot participate in the relevant tour, the visa fee and service fee are non-refundable. If the guest obtained their visa and visa service through the BTB TOUR Visa Department and this visa service is specified as an additional service in the travel contract, and if BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, the guest may receive a refund of the amount remaining after excluding fees and similar amounts paid to consulates for the visa, provided that they present their passport as proof that they did not use the visa within 1 week at the latest after the visa expiry date. If the guest obtained their visa through their own means and/or with the help of a different visa intermediary, and BTB TOURS cancels the relevant tour due to insufficient participation or another reason, no refund will be made to the guest.
• Routes may change depending on the city where the aircraft lands. The aircraft type and time may change, and as hotel availability may vary during high season or special periods, a similar alternative hotel may be provided. These circumstances were notified at the time of contract, and THE PASSENGER PURCHASED THE TOUR BY ACCEPTING THE RISK OF TIME CHANGES AND HOTEL CHANGES.
• Triple rooms are provided subject to hotel availability. Triple rooms have an extra bed, and the third bed is smaller than a standard bed. Three separate beds cannot be guaranteed in triple rooms; if the hotel has a suitable room, the hotel will block it subject to availability.
• Child discounts are valid only for children staying with 2 adults.
• Breakfast served at the hotels is continental breakfast, not Turkish breakfast. Continental breakfast consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee and fruit juice.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a separate room.
• During reservation/registration, the first and last name as shown on the passport to be used for travel, date of birth and passport number must be provided and entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information are the guest’s responsibility.
• Whether or not obtained from BTB TOURS, our guests must have overseas travel and health insurance beginning one day before the tour date and ending one day after the tour date, and must carry the relevant insurance policy with them. Guests who do not carry their travel insurance may be fined by the police of the relevant country. If such a fine is incurred because the guest did not carry their travel insurance, responsibility belongs to the guest.
• Due to diplomatic relations between countries, having entered or exited certain countries may result in being unable to obtain a visa for one or more other countries or being denied entry at a border crossing. Since this is outside BTB TOURS’ control, the parties acknowledge that BTB TOURS has no responsibility in such a case.
• Guests who do not wish to participate in tours conducted along the route for the purpose of providing the group with economic and time benefits agree to wait for the group at a nearby facility until the optional excursion ends. At the end of the excursion, our bus will pick up these guests and our tour will continue.
• Panoramic city tours are excursions arranged to introduce the cities. City tours and optional excursions may be arranged on different days, provided that their content does not change, or may not take place depending on weather conditions. In such a case, BTB TOURS is obliged to offer our valued guests the most suitable possible alternative. Optional tours are organized with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not reached, optional tours may not take place or the price may change.
• Excursions or tours that local authorities do not permit for any reason will not take place. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if these excursions or tours cannot take place.
• The aircraft seats in our programs are group seats, and tickets are issued as a single round-trip ticket. If the outbound flight is missed and/or not used, the return flight may also be automatically cancelled. The airline’s rules apply in such cases.
• Last-minute delays and gate changes on flights are displayed on information boards/screens at airports. Guests must follow this information themselves. If a flight is missed due to such a situation or personal reasons, the guest must purchase and obtain a new ticket at their own expense (as per the previous clause, if necessary, as a round-trip ticket). In addition, they may partially or completely miss the first day’s program because they missed the group’s departure; in such a case, responsibility belongs to the guest. If they travel to the relevant city/country on a flight different from the group’s, the airport-city or airport-hotel transfer is the guest’s responsibility.
• Guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets using miles may do so only after the tickets have been issued and provided there is availability on the relevant airline’s relevant flight. Since the aircraft seats in our programs are in the group class, before upgrading the requested ticket if availability exists, it may be necessary to pay the difference specified by the airline and transfer the ticket from the group class to an economy class eligible for upgrade. Any resulting price difference is the guest’s responsibility. Group tickets in our programs are issued a few days before the tour departure. 
• To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey you must check with your GSM operator whether your line is open for international calls and incoming calls. 
• When briefly or completely leaving the means of transport you use and the hotels where you stay during your trip, please make sure that you have taken all your belongings. 
• BTB TOURS may change the order of the cities in the program and/or the airline to be used without altering the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
• BTB TOURS reserves the right to change hotel names provided that the category remains the same.
• BTB TOURS is not responsible for items forgotten, lost or stolen during the tour.
• Children under 18 travelling with their mother must obtain a letter of consent from their father; travelling with their father, from their mother; and travelling with a third person, from both their mother and father. BTB TOURS cannot be held responsible if the flight does not take place due to the absence of a letter of consent.
• The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
