  The tour circular is valid as of its publication date, 19.01.2026. Subsequent circulars published for the same tour on later dates invalidate the previous circular.

Important Information Regarding Flight Tours

  • In flight tours, all operations related to flights are subject to the provisions of the airline contract.
  • Cancellation insurance does not cover air travel.
  • A tiered pricing system is applied; advertised prices start from the lowest class.
  • Economy class flights are used in flight tour programs.
  • Flight tickets are issued as round-trip together. If the outbound flight is not used, the return flight also becomes invalid due to the airlines' "sequential use" rule. Therefore, participation in only the return flight is not possible.

 

Museum – Archaeological Site – National Park Entries

All museum, archaeological site, and national park entry fees are borne by the guests. Guests may obtain a Museum Card from sales points before or during the tour to benefit at museums and sites where the Museum Card is valid.

Rest Stops

Stops are made at rest facilities along the route. Due to congestion, renovation, or other compelling reasons, stop locations may be changed provided they are equivalent in terms of service quality and location.

Extra Tours and Program Flow

Night tours and extra excursions included in the tour program are organized depending on the number of participants and the availability of assigned staff. Extra tours conducted along the route may take place even if not all guests participate. Guests who do not wish to join an extra tour are directed by our guide to rest areas or city centers prior to entering the city. In such cases, guests who agree to wait at the rest area are considered to have participated in the tour.

Due to weather conditions, road status, or similar reasons, the guide may make changes to the program sequence (visits within a day or between days) if deemed necessary.

Go-Turkey cannot be held responsible for points that are part of the program but cannot be visited due to compelling reasons (weather conditions, road status, congestion at visit points, etc.) or because guests fail to adhere to the timing given by the guide.

Health Declaration

Guests must carry reports and information regarding any health issues they may experience during the tour, pregnancy status, or medications they continuously use.

Accommodation Information

The hotel names specified in the program are priority accommodations. Changes to hotels may be made depending on availability. At the latest 48 hours before the tour departure, upon request, accommodation details will be shared with guests. In case of hotel changes due to congestion or compelling reasons, provided standards remain the same, guests will be informed by Go-Turkey authorities.

TRABZON – ATATÜRK KÖŞKÜ – AYASOFYA – SÜMELA MONASTERY – VOLKAN KONAK'S GRAVE – UZUNGÖL "An unforgettable beginning extending into the history, nature, and unique landscapes of the Black Sea...

On the first day of our tour, we will be ready at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 04:30 to complete our baggage and check-in procedures. We begin our journey towards the enchanting atmosphere of the Black Sea with Pegasus Airlines' flight departing from Sabiha Gökçen to Trabzon at 06:20. After our approximately 1.5-hour flight, we collect our luggage at Trabzon Airport, proceed to the airport exit, board the vehicle waiting for us, and start our tour program.

Our first stop is Mercan Korupark Restaurant, where we will experience the rich breakfast culture of the Black Sea. Here, guests who wish can enjoy a regional breakfast served additionally; we start our day pleasantly alongside local flavors unique to the region.

After breakfast, we visit Atatürk Köşkü (Atatürk's Pavilion), one of Trabzon's iconic structures. We tour the pavilion, which attracted attention with its elegant architecture and period furnishings, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed during his visits to Trabzon, accompanied by our guide's commentary.

Next, we head to Trabzon Hagia Sophia, one of the most important examples of Byzantine architecture in the Black Sea. After observing the historical structure's architecture and artistic traces that have reached us today, we turn our route towards Altındere Valley.

We visit Sümela Monastery, built on the steep cliffs of the valley, captivating visitors with its impressive location. We listen to our guide about the monastery's history and its place in the region's cultural heritage, then are given free time to capture the unique valley views with photos.

Continuing our tour, we pay our respects to the late artist Volkan Konak, one of the unforgettable artists of Black Sea music, by visiting his grave.

Then, we head to Uzungöl, one of the Black Sea's most special points with its stunning landscape stretching among lush green mountains. Upon arrival, we are given free time to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery.

After our free time, we move to our hotel in Trabzon. After settling into our rooms, we have dinner at our hotel and retire for rest.

After having breakfast at our hotel, we head towards Rize and reach Rize Bezi Workshop, the first visit point of the day. Here, we observe the production stages of Rize cloth, one of the region's traditional crafts; we learn about weaving techniques and usage areas. After the workshop visit, shopping opportunities are offered for guests who wish.

Subsequently, we move to Çayeli. From there, with guests who wish, we join the Çeçeva Tea Gardens Tour, which will be organized additionally by minibuses. In Çeçeva, one of the most special photo spots of the Black Sea with its rows of tea fields and lush green landscapes, we receive information about the harvesting and production process of tea and spend pleasant time in nature.

After our visit to Çeçeva, we head towards Fırtına Valley, one of the most impressive natural beauties of the Black Sea. During the break at the activity center within the valley, guests who wish can participate in activities such as giant swings, zipline, and ATV; if weather and water conditions permit, they can experience the thrill of rafting. Guests may also have lunch during this break as an additional service.

After our break, we then arrive at Çamlıhemşin center. In Çamlıhemşin, one of the most special points of Rize, we transfer to our minibuses for additional highland tours with guests who wish. Provided that weather conditions are suitable and sufficient participation is achieved, our highland tours will be carried out at the discretion of our guide, offering the opportunity to experience closely the purest and most impressive nature of the Black Sea.

In this tour, we visit Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Village, one of the most iconic points of Fırtına Valley, experiencing stone arch bridges and authentic village life. We take photos to collect wonderful memories. Then, we visit Palovit Waterfall, one of the strongest waterfalls of the Black Sea. At historical Zilkale Castle, we enjoy panoramic views, pass through Şimşir Forests, one of the world's most special ecosystems, and proceed into the heart of nature. Our tour continues at Elevit Highland, one of the simplest and most peaceful points of highland life, where we enjoy the highland atmosphere.

In this alternative tour, we start again with Şenyuva Village, then proceed to visit Zilkale Castle. Afterwards, we ascend to Pokut Highland, famous for its unique view above the clouds. Here, we have the opportunity to witness the "sea of clouds" landscape known as the Black Sea's signature view. Our tour continues with a visit to Sal Highland, which preserves its natural beauty and attracts attention with its postcard-like scenery.

In this tour, we visit Şenyuva (Çinçiva) Village, one of the most iconic points of Fırtına Valley, experiencing stone arch bridges and authentic village life. We take photos to collect wonderful memories. Then, we visit Palovit Waterfall, one of the strongest waterfalls of the Black Sea.

 

Note: Guests who do not wish to participate in our additional highland tours can spend free time in Çamlıhemşin. We particularly recommend these highland tours to guests who want to truly feel the Black Sea and experience nature in its purest form.

After our highland visits, we head towards Ayder Highland, located at the foothills of the Kaçkar Mountains and one of the most famous tourism centers of the Black Sea. Upon arrival, we are given free time to explore the natural beauties of the highland, photograph Gelin Tülü Waterfall, go hiking, and shop for local products.

After our free time, we move back to our hotel. We have dinner at our hotel and retire for rest.

After having breakfast at our hotel, we empty our rooms and head towards Arhavi under the unique views of Fırtına Valley.

Upon arrival in Arhavi, we transfer to minibuses suitable for the region's geographical and road conditions and begin the Mençuna Waterfall and Double Bridges Tour, which is included in the tour fee.

First, we visit the Double Bridges (Çifte Köprüleri), iconic structures of the region that have survived from the Ottoman period to today with their cut-stone architecture and elegant arches. Here, we listen to our guide's explanations and are given free time to take photos.

Then, we move towards the Mençuna Waterfall, hidden among lush green vegetation. After a walk immersed in nature, we reach the majestic waterfall and enjoy the cool waters and magnificent views. After our photo and rest break, we return to Arhavi by minibus and transfer back to our tour vehicle.

Continuing our tour, we provide an optional lunch break for guests who wish. After our break, we head towards Trabzon.

First, we visit a knife workshop where the renowned Sürmene knives, famous for their craftsmanship and durability, are produced. Here, we learn about the production stages and features of Sürmene knives, and we offer shopping opportunities to interested guests.

Next, we visit the Memişağa Mansion, one of the important structures reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Sürmene. After listening to our guide's explanations regarding the mansion's architectural features and its place in the region's history, we are given free time for local product shopping.

We conclude our day's visits with a trip to the Vatan Tea Factory, which also hosted TV series filming. We learn about the production stages from picking the tea leaves to processing them until they reach our tables; after touring the tea factory, we offer shopping opportunities to interested guests.

After our visit, we head towards Trabzon Airport. After completing our baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines' flight at 21:40 from Trabzon to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen.

Upon our arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, we complete our tour, which passed with the unique nature and unforgettable beauty of the Black Sea, and say goodbye, looking forward to meeting again at another Marina Tur event.
